    CROMER as a holiday resort

Last night I discovered an interesting site that gives lots of information from people's everyday experiences  about places. So I decided that Qype was the ideal place for me to share the things I learn about living in Cromer as I have lots of visitors throughout the year and tend to go to lots of different places to eat, drink and see about the town. So from now on I'm going to blog here about the town, but review places to be seen on  Qype. Oh, and if you've arrived on this page from Qype then you can view many general scenes of Cromer among my albums (both photos and from my sketch books) plus the short video of the Poppyline Steam Train in one of my blogs below.

    PINK BLISS

Pink Bliss, that's what I decided to call this series of pictures in the slide show.  I'm well aware that they're all a bit 'fuzzy' as well as 'buzzy' but I just loved the blending and blurring of the pinks against the bees.

Colour is so powerful don't you think? And pink is a 'loving' and 'sympathetic' colour, so the bees are rolling about in LOVE!!!

    A NEW BEGINNING

Quote The start of June and nearly mid-summer, and still the weather is dull and gloomy in my patch of the world.

This week I'm joining a 'closed home circle' for spiritual development and to link up with my friends, relatives and guides in the world of light. It feels like a new beginning to be doing this as I haven't sat in a 'closed circle' for a number of years. I have sometimes attended home circles as a guest, and to allow myself to be used as a channel for psychic portraits but the time feels right at the moment and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone as there are 'sitters' I have never met before.

    STEAM TRAIN

I took this video some weeks ago when my friend from London came to stay for the weekend. We went on the Steam Train from Sheringham to Holt and back again. It reminded me of when I was a little girl 'cos I remember there were steam trains in many areas back then. Children still have the steam engine in their play sets, but many of them probably haven't even seen one in real life...... well maybe Thomas the Tank Engine special days.
